Artist’s Bio
Megan Dupuy is a self-taught impressionistic artist who draws inspiration from her upbringing in south Louisiana, love of nature, the peacefulness of a quiet space, and the rice fields that surrounded her childhood home.
A creative her whole life, Megan discovered her love of painting in 2008. She has since continued to expand and grow her painting style and knowledge of the Impressionist technique.
Megan utilizes multiple mediums in her artwork, such as acrylics, watercolors, glazes, and ink. Most recently, experimenting with resin coated acrylic and gold leaf on canvas has led to a series of seafood abstracts. They can be found in The Francis Southern Table & Bar and are offered through several interior designers in the Mississippi Delta area.
Now based near Memphis, TN with her husband, three children, and golden retriever, Megan has expanded her subject matter to include the hilly landscapes and native animals of southwest Tennessee.
